My wife delivered a baby last week and now I want to update my file. I haven't got any file number yet but fee was charged in Nov'2010. Can I request senior members to let me know who to contact for updating my baby records? Also, do CIC require any birth proof to update my file?

Qorax, PMM, Leon etc. please help me in updating CIC regarding this information.

You should probably post this question in the Skilled Worker section of the forum. I think you'll get better responses there.

For the moment you're still working on sponsorship approval? If you apply inland, it'll take a while before you get a lettre from CIC.

You call CIC Hotline to ask your case number, if they already created a number.

I had a baby in July 2010, I called CIC and they told me to mail a copy of the birth cert. I put my name, my spouses name and our birthdates, signed and dated the letter. That's what the call centre agent told me to do. I am sure this happens from time to time, so CIC should know what to do. If you in doubt call CIC and see what they say. Good luck and congratulations on the little one.

The OP needs to amend his application IMM 08, his spouses and his IMM 5406 include a copy of the childs birth certificate and passport and the fee $150.

Sorry I am new to this what does "OP" stand for? and they never told me about a $150 fee, could you elaborate more? Thx

Even I can't understand what OP stands for.

It stands for original poster of the topic, means you.

Thanks for the information. I appreciate if I have the link where I could have all information regarding process to change in my application.
