Hi, so my question is it mandatory to write end date in job letter because in my job letter the current date is at the top and in middle my supervisor wrote From .... Till present she is working as ..... Be coz I am still working so do we need to mention end date or not please help me Becoz the current date already written at the top of my job letter

Hi jeenu

My employer did exactly the same thing.

"Mr xxxxxx has been in continuous full time employment (40 hours per week) from xxxx/xx/xx to present. His main duties are .........."

The current date was written at the top of the letter

Has not caused me any problems, just check, obviously, that it shows 12 months or more full time employment

Thanks for ur reply I was worried coz I application rejected but in tht case they didn't mention current date at the top they wrote- from .. till present. R u sure I am good to go

Now I cannot say for absolute certainty

But if the current date is written at the top of the letter from your employer and your employer states from....til present that means up to the current date. And so long as you can show more than 12 months employment in your NOC it should be good.

In my case, the "from...to present" was a period of about 16 months. I have been ok with that in my application.

I don't know if anyone else is more knowledgeable?
