Hi all and particularly anyone that can help,

We received AOR from CIO today and now I'm doing my headless chicken bit, 120 days to file docs to London CHC.

Ok my husband lived and worked in Malaysia and Singapore for a period of a year in each country we know we need PCC's from both countries and how to obtain them, but they are asking for the passport that had the original visa stamps, as this was sometime ago and the document has been renewed and the old one been mislaid as we have moved around alot, what shall we do, it was not reported as we spoke to the police and they said because the document had expired and been replaced there was no reason, but what should we do if anyone could help I would really be very grateful..

Many Thanks

Can anyone please help??

Oh boy do I sympathize. Who knew that people with international experience would be so penalized...

I can only suggest the following - Put your query IN WRITING to the respective embassies, and get a WRITTEN response. That way, if they tell you it is impossible, at least you have it documented.

You can try to give the written declaration of the above said reason and see the response

Regards,
Pankaj

Thank you both very much x

1. Better still follow CICs instructions
Singapore, you have to wait to receive a letter from the processing office and then follow the instructions here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/asia-pacific/singapore.asp
Malaysia, you contact the local embassy or consulate see: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/asia-pacific/malaysia.asp

PMM

PMM, The local (London) Malaysia embassy states that it requires the original visa stamps.

And sometimes, the CIC instructions are not 100% accurate or complete...
