There are no direct refugee immigration programs to Canada. You will either need to move to a different country and have the UNHCR recognize you as a refugee and wait for resettlement or you will need to acquire a TRV to travel to Canada and then claim as a refugee once in Canada.

Yes the refugee path is not an easy path, it is one you should only take if your life is in danger. With unchr they may resettle you anywhere not particularly Canada. If you don't mind me asking what are your reasons for your refugee claim?

I believe the reasons cannot be generic, you need to be personally impacted. You cannot side economic conditions as reason to apply for asylum.
Maybe you can qualify using another pathway.....what are your qualifications? Do you qualify for economic streams?

Claiming asylum can takes years and then they just refuse it and send you back home since nothing that you-said is a ground for seeking it in the first place.

if you wanna come to Canada because of unemployment then there are programs you can apply for and come that way, but refugee is not the first and only option.

I'm a higher diploma holder in microbiology and currently working as a trained phlebotomist in a federal Teaching Hospital.
