I have two questions:

1: I am about to submit my completed application to Mississauga office for my spouse in Pakistan. Can anyone tell me, is there any specific dimensions of the envelope package in which all the papers and evidence go?? And is there any specific envelope?

2: In the IMM 0008 form, when my wife printed those forms, she received many bar codes. Do they have to be on the same page or cut and paste anywhere? if yes, then where to paste them?

I would really appreciate for the help!
Thanks...

Hi,
The bar code pages must be on the top of her application form and all other attachments.
Your wife's papers - The application form and supporting documents - should be placed separately in a 9" x 12" size envelope.
Her envelope together with your papers ( sponsor's documents ) should be placed in a large envelope fitting the whole set.
Then mail it.

Thanks a lot buddy... Just to clear even more.. So the bar codes page will go on all my wife's IMM forms? Should i scan the original page that has bar code and then print copies and place it on all the IMM forms?

I appreciate for your help!

Hi sdfr,

You are welcome.
No sdfr. What you need to do is, place the bar code paper on top of all documents. As soon as CPC take the application package they scan the bar code and a page will be opened for that applicant. Necessary entries will be made on their system accordingly. We should not give extra work for them looking for bar code sheet inside the package.

Regards,

Wilson

One more thing Sir don't forget to Validate the IMM0008 or GENERIC FORM ;)

Listen buddy, There is problem with software and instead of five bar codes it prints ten bar codes. Doesn't matter it will work. (mine worked) and second send the application through UPS so that you have proof of delivery. You will get acknowledgement from CPC after sixty days and god forbid if it is lost then you will come to know about it after 90 days or so.

Do not worry about the size and weight of your final package to Mississauga. When I sent my application package to Miss. a year ago, it was one HUGE bubble env weighing almost a kilo (with a ton of photo evidence). They accepted it and it was perfectly fine.

What I did was seperate all my documents into categories like Sponsor's Supporting Documents, My supporting documents, Medical cert and Police Cert, etc and put each set of docs in seperate envelopes (8x11). Then I seperated all my photos by year/ pre or post wedding/occasion/ place and again put them in diff smaller size envelopes. and watever docs I had left, I made a new env mentioning Other Documents. All together it became one huge package. Believe it or not I had to send it as a parcel to Mississauga. Frm my experience, I dont think they worry about size and weight, as long as it it organized and has all the possible proof there is in the world lol.

Hope this helps!

Thanks everyone for your help... Another question regarding IMM0008. Should there be a problem if you Validate IMM0008 more than one time? Actually my wife filled in the form and she printed wrong info and Validated it. However, she fixed it later and validated it again. Any concerns on such criteria?
