Hello , I’m a Skilled worker (esthetician) in BC Canada , i worked at a hair salon for a year now , and the owner sold the shop to another person that is not ready to keep me in the business , so I got laid off.
I still have another year in my visa (work permit 2 years ), I don’t know what to do now , I’m unemployed , no source of revenue and couldn’t find a sponsor because of the covid-19 situation and can’t work anywhere else because of my closed work permit.
I applied for pnp right before I got laid off and no response yet.
Can you please help me with informations , what to do , who should I talk to ?

- work permit : closed
- 1 year of work at the business that sponsored me
- got laid off after owner sold business
- applied for pnp : no response yet
- can’t work anywhere
- French mobility program skilled worker
