Need Help Obtaining Criminal Background Check

Hello all,

I married my wife in Mexico a few weeks ago, and now we are trying to get her a Kansas state and FBI criminal background check for when she was living illegally in the US for the past two years. She is now currently living in Mexico. We were told to contact the US embassy in Mexico, but we are unable to contact a human being. Can anyone help us?
