Hi All,

I need some help from senior members.....My application was refused on 2014feb for misrepresentation and gave two years ban. We filed and appeal and we received an IAD hearing date Jan 2016 but the ban period is almost came to end so we withdrawn my appeal and plan to submit new application on feb 2016 which is suggest by my counsil. At that time i came to know my application has been reopen again and they asked us to submit additional document on jan end.

I submitted all additional documents at the end of feb 2016 and ordered my gcms notes to know about my case in more details.

Here is the below comment where they says they can reopen again.

"Email enquiry from hearing office re re-opening. Responste sent: The email Attachment from the representative includes an RCMP clearance. We 've never recived that document but since the client has now got it, the basis for refusal wont stand up on appeal. Please ask the appeal office to send back the original file - if they have the original RCM PC, could they include it? We will reopen and continue processing when we get the file."

Please can you guys help me y they reopen the case again...even they didnt inform us this before i ask my original documents from the visa office.

It looks like the government lawyer got your file from you or your lawyer, and it included an RCMP certificate. Because of this, the government felt that they could not win the appeal, and advised the visa office to start processing your application again.

It doesn't say here that the visa office has the RCMP clearance - they are asking the appeal office to send it. I would send it to the visa office myself, unless it says somewhere else in the notes that they have it.

Thanks for the reply

But here what does the RCMP clearance mean? its a canadian police clearance?

Yes. If you don't have it, the government must have it already, and so will send it to the visa office.
