Hi Everyone! I hope y'all are doing good. So, I'm gonna file the visa finally. My profile is as follows
10th Grade : CGPA of 8.2 (2012)
12th Grade : 58% (2014)
IELTS : band 7
Bachelor's in Visual Communication : around 65% with a couple of backlogs (3 years 2015-2017)
I'm applying for Computer Systems Technology in Cambrian College for Sept Intake 2017.
I know my preferred course doesn't match up with my bachelor's. I believe I have given valid reasons for choosing Computer Systems Technology over something related to Visual Communication. But, I'm not sure whether it will be accepted by the VO. I'm extremely passionate about computers and programming and I feel I deserve an opportunity to prove myself in this field. I know there are lots of knowledgeable people in this forum who can help me by giving me a suggestion or two. I've a decent travel history having traveled to several first world countries like Australia, Singapore, the US, UK and Canada itself. I've my immediate relatives in India and decent amount of funds (46K CAD in personal bank account) and a GIC of 10k CAD. I paid my tuition fees for the first semester too. I know the basics of computer programming and have worked with several game engines while creating content for virtual reality although I don't have any certificates. So, I kindly request you friends to pitch me an idea on how to convince the visa officer that I'm really serious about this. The last thing that I want is rejection due to past studies. I think we all deserve a chance to prove ourselves. Thank you.
