Need help - Immigration from UK to Canada

I'm on new on this forum and at initial stage of learning about Candian immigration process. Anyone can help me if immigration is possible in my case with following details:
Age 42
Qualification: MSc Quantity Surveying (UK)
Over 15 years experience in construction industry (UK & Asia)
Nationality: British
Want to migrate with family; wife and 4 children under age 15 years.

Start by researching the Express Entry program. This is a points-based immigration program where those with the most points are selected. You want a high score (close to 500) to have a good chance of being selected. Your age will unfortunately be a barrier to this but calculate your points all the same to see where you land. Is there a reason you want to relocate? Do you work for an international employer and can you get a transfer to a Canadian office? What type of work does your spouse do? Starting over in a new country in your mid 40s can be very tough because it is hard to get into more senior roles without Canadian experience or connections. Moving in your mid-40s can have a big impact on things like retirement. If immigration is possible your eldest child may be around 17 will they want to join you in Canada to finish off their college? Do they want to attend university in Canada? They would still be required to meet their residency requirement (2 out of 5 years in Canada) which would be difficult if they intended on attending university in the UK. Would first start by seeing if you qualify to immigrate. New programs are set to be announced soon.

@canuck78 ; Good questions. I will try to answer your questions. I went to Canada last year and like the living standard. Secondly, my father-in-law recently passed away and my wife want to live closer to her mom (note: my in-laws family are settled in Canada after our marriage and my wife is not Canadian). I work in international consultant firm which is actually Canadian base company and have many offices all over the Canada. She works as teaching assistant in nursery. Yes you are right about pension and other stuff. Our oldest daughter is now 14 and will sit her GCSE exam in next year 2024.
How much time is required in Express Entry? Do I need to verify my educational documents as well?

Zero chance through Express Entry directly. You need to have a score of 480+ to have a chance through Express Entry directly.

You'll need to research the PNP programs to see if those may be options. Although I'm not sure if your occupation is in demand in a province.

If your employer is willing to secure a work permit for you either through obtaining an approed LMIA or through moving you here on an Intra Company Transfer work permit, this might open up options for you.
