Need Help:Grand Parent 10 year tourist visa

Hi guys,

I have applied on behalf of my grandma who is 81 years old , for 10 year tourist visa.
She lives in Iran, And cause of her age, they didn’t ask for finger prints. However asked for medical which she did 3 months ago.
There has been no updates since then.
Has anyone had same experience with more tgan 100 days wait after medical tests for Tourist visa?
I have tried calling CIC but no luck, the recoding says that due to high volume, they can’t connect me with live agent.
I know there is a document that could be requested that shows the progress and all the notes on file.
Please help me get some info on this.

Not uncommon to wait this long. A 10 year visa for an 81 year old would be unlikely. I would imagine there will be concerns about her ties to Iran and whether she will attempt to remain in Canada. Best of luck.
