hi every one,
i need some hint and help from those who has sponsored their spouse via london.I am permanent resident and my husband is british,we just got married and I came to stay with him in london .want to go back and sponsor him.Anyone who has been in this situation ,mind sharing your experience with me either if I can send the application on my own without the help of solicitor and what is the time line of receiving the visa.

Note that since you are a PR, you must be living in Canada in order to sponsor your husband and must continue living in Canada while his application is being processed. Occasional short trips out of the country (2-3 weeks) are OK. Anything longer and you'll risk having the application refused.

Yes - you can certainly file the application without a solicitor's assistance.
