Hi everyone. I will apply for pgwp in january 2023. My study permit is valid till march 2023. If i dont get decision by march what would be my status in canada? I need information ragarding implied status.what is implied status. For how long it is valid?

24 hours after you apply for your PGWP, you'll get a provisional letter from IRCC stating that your work permit is being processed and you can work full time. They normally state an expiration date for these letters 4 months after applying, so if you apply on January 20th, your letter will say it expires on May 20th. But if by May 20th IRCC still hasn't sent you approval, then you can keep working on "implied status".
