Need Guidance

Hello Guys!

I have been going through forums and found answers to most of my questions. Now at the end want your opinion how to proceed.
Here is my situation. I am Pakisntani and have job in US on H1b. Came to canada to meet my wife who is canadian Citizen( After marriage in Pakistan, I had to go to US and she had to return to canada coz she had to take care some issues here). I applied for visa stamping at US counselate in canada and Undergoing some additional adminsitrative processing for UNCERTAIN duration. Never applied for canadian PR as we were planning to live in States.Now, we have decided to apply for canadian PR . I have multiple entery visitor visa to canada till march 2011. here are my questions:

1) Is it Ok if I apply as Inlander...? but I will have to go back to US for my job as soon as I get my visa. Will that be an issue?
2) My wife doesnt have started her career so i have job not her. Both of us are medical graduates. Will there be any problem?
3) I understand I need police certificates both for US and Pakistan .. Do I need them right now or I can wait till they ask for it?

Apply for ANIP Immigration for H1B applicants.You have to land in canada and apply for ur PR card then u will have 5 year visa out of which u have to spend 3 years in canada.

No.If u apply as principle applicant and ur wife as dependent applicant then it will not be a problem.

If u apply for ANIP. i guess they will not ask for police Clarance certificate.they will ask for you poloce certificate when u have been accepted and ur applying for CIC.

I think what u should to is to apply after asking a few people and u do it within a month without the Clarence letter and apply for Clarence letter. You need police Clarence certificate from Pakistan i think that will be a problem for u because u have to travel back to Pakistan to do that. I think u should send someone like ur brother to try to make one for u. may be it will work. for medical i have no idea of acceptance may be some sort of exam. may be Canada accepts USMLE. I think that is easy for u to find try asking some of you hospital colleges.

Sorry couldnot understand ANIP?? Also, My Wife is canadian Citizen, Shoudnt she be principal applicant?
If I apply today and my visa of US comes tomorrow, I will leave canada. So that will be a problem after applying?

i thought that ur wife was not Canadian national. If ur wife is Canadian then ur case is simple apply for CIC directly. You will be required to prove ur marriage. I think ur case will be simple and process will be fairly fast as well. Check the official site for more details.
