Need Guidance- Prospective Applicants

Me and Mrs are planning to apply for Canadian PR. We will be eligible to apply for PR after maintaining six months of Funds and other documentation. Which makes it about Late December/January. After filling the initial application if we have our baby. How would he be eligible then ?

The first step is having CRS score. If you have the CRS score and meet the other requirements and you have already joined the pool. The key then would be when is the baby born. 1. Before the AOR(submission of application) 2. After AOR(when the application is in process) 3. After COPR (when the application is approved). If it 1. Then you can add the newborn as long as you have their passport/if you don't then just add a letter of explanation later when you get it you can raise a CSE to add their passport. If it is 2 or 3. You will have to inform IRCC and they will send a list of things to be added to he application for newborn. Either way it is straightforward. Only thing is with an additional application your POF will increase.

Much..appreciated..For I maintain funds from 20th June to 20th December and then send the application which is during the pregnancy. i.e Baby not yet born and if i get visa and the baby comes in March/April and i get my visa in March - April, what would be the scenario. I will not be touching the funds. during the entire process though initially it will be for two,do i have to add further for the baby ?

Yes you will need more funds for the additional member. You will need funds for 3 instead of 2.

Also you don't need to wait till December 20. You can always join the pool sooner if you have CRS points. Once you get and ITA then you will get 60-90 days to submit everything. Make sure that 60-90 days show last 6 months you meet POF required
