Hello Everybody, My Fiancee and I finally decided to go get marry in my country which is in Ivory coast(Cote D'ivoire).....Me and her know each other since 2years. I live In India since 4years ago and she live in Alberta,Canada. She visit me every 5months where we spend month together, she visited me 3times and we spend 1month every time...We are planning to go to Ivory coast to get marry as we can make that India. Today we talking on the phone and she mentioned that she gonna call my embassy in canada and ask them about the Visa Process, that I think she is right...but the question is that she wanna ask them also What are all the documents she need to get marry in Ivory Coast....

Is the embassy gonna grant her a visa knowing her plan?

Is it a good Idea???

WHAT type of visa she need to apply for?

And where can she get the Certificate of Non-Impediment to Marriage Abroad?? in Canada or in Ivory coast???

where can she Translate her documents in French?? In Canada or in ivory Coast??

Can somebody tell us the procedure or steps to follow.....

We need advise Please

THANKS.

This is your country, so your opinion is better than ours. She could always ask about the visa in one phone call, then call again another day and ask about what is needed to get married.

In Canada, if she needs it.

Either place would be fine, though I suggest Canada. However, she may not need anything translated: Canada is officially bilingual and so official documents should have both French and English on them. Or she can request them in French.
