Need an Opinion!!!

I applied on 7th feb and did medical on 24th march and then i got a call on the 4th of May from CHC islamabad to email them all my email addresses, my phone numbers and my travel history and when i asked her the reason. She said that its for security reason and upon my enquiry she said that we will return back to you the passport with the final decision offcourse in two weeks. So i have three questions now

1. What does this mean actually? Does this Security clearance make my visa chances more?

2. She said two weeks so what do you guys think its going to take?

3. Its already been two weeks. Should i mail them and enquire about my status or wait more?

4. If wait more then how much time should i wait more before i email them as i already mailed them twice before that phone call?

My personal openion, i would suggest you to wait if your classes starting in september. Otherwise shot an email if classes already started but write a professional email, just dnt ask about typical application status.

well, i thnkk thy r a team o big duche bags whu dnt knw wht comitmentt izz!!
i didnt receiv any call as yettt btt thy r jus tellin me dat my aplicaton is in q to b reviewd by an imigration oficer!

n ofcrsee dis security chk increases ur chances .,
i thnk u shd wait fr lik a week mre cz tcs n fedex ppl take consignment weekly frm chc .,dats wht i thnk

No no man fedex dont talk it on weekly basis they take it on daily basis.. agar weekly basis hota tho subka pir monday ko he aata.. or u might be right as well bcoz i got mine on wednesday and tuesday was 23march holiday and the stamp on my letter was 22nd march.. haha.. cant guess it man... need to ask fedex...

You should have ask them about Security clearance!! In what context they are talking about!
In my knowledge Security clearance is something run by security agencies/offices to make sure that a person is no harmful for the country!
So there is no definite time lime for this. They just gave you an estimate!!

Well.. doesn't make sense, when u have provided all the forms, u must have provided all travel history and other stuff, y they will call and ask all stuff again?? Pakistani CHC is so immature don't know what they are doing ..

1 - It can be good, it can not be, BUT, it has to be good
2 - two weeks.. It should be maximum 3 - 4 weeks
3 - Wait at least 1 week more
4 - that was before phone call, after phone call, u can inquire again, if u remember lady name, that's even better, shoot an email, put her name there and tell what she said and to ask u to wait 2 weeks.. etc

thanks jigzy and usman.. u guys make some sense.. well i provided everything but i guess they wana cross check.. actually i am a marine engineer so i had to join my ship from different countries and those stamps are there on my passport but i guess they didnt compare my passport dates with my sea man service book so thats y they asked me for it and yes i guess 2 weeks means 4 weeks..so lets wait for another week.. may allah help us all..
