Im lonely, single, no relatives, no partner and its my 2nd year as PR here in Canada
my widowed mom is back home
I know I can invite her after a year via Parents and Grandparents Program (PGP)
Do I have a chance to sponsor my mother under humanitarian and compassionate reasons?
any advise how I can start this? Please advise

Does your mother have other family members in her home country? Do any of your siblings live there? Does your mother have brothers or sisters (your aunts and uncles who live there)?

do you qualify for a supervisa?

I think since there are avenues to bring your parent to Canada wouldn't they see you applying as humanitarian as way of you trying to circumvent the normal process and get ahead of the queue?

This won't be a strong H&C case. It would be a strong case if you are an only child and your mother has absolutely no family members living in her home country. I would very strongly recommend that you work to sponsor her through parent sponsorship instead.

Yeah, you have a point

I can still try right?

You can - but be prepared for the consequences if she is refused.

If she applies for H&C and is refused, she will be told to leave Canada and should expect it will be very difficult / impossible to return as a visitor in the future. If you are OK with that risk - then by all means go ahead.
