I need some help and information for work permit and its extension process.
My Brother applied for extension of work permit in Canada early this year, he already has SINP ( Saskatchewan Immigration Nominee Program) file under process and he is getting married by end of next month in India. However, currently work permit ext. is taking approx. 130 days of processing time and we just came to know that he can not leave country without work permit approval otherwise he may lost his status. We are confused as what to do. Recently, someone advised us that he can get work permit if he travels to border but we are not sure how accurate that information is. Since there is little time left we need to plan things accordingly but everything depends on his work permit approval.
Can someone please advise if there are any other options to get work permit extension approval or what else can be done ?
