Need Advise about wife's dependent visa

Hi everyone,

I have applied my PR under CEC and they have send my file for second review since last January but I didn't get any reply from them yet. My work permit is expiring by August 2015 so what is your opinion should I apply visitor visa or dependent visa for my wife to bring her here ?

In both cases she will come in as a visitor to canada. If depedent her visa end date will be same as yours. Then you would have to file a visitor extension for her or a bridge open wp.

Yes there is no dependent visa. It is visitor Visa provided that you are supporting her financially. You can get it hassle free but may become difficult if there is less time remained for visa expiry.

If I apply my BOWP and then I apply her visitor visa. Does it make any difference??
