Good day Leon,

im just applying for skilled worker but sad to know that my NOC 2214 was not on the 38 list so sad, im a caregiver too had experience and completed 6 training course in caregiver ,what will be my options to be in canada,?
is CAREGIVER that Minister kenney included also for the 6-12 months processing time? if that so , how and what will be my category to be applied for, my application was not yet filed coz i wait for the 38 list unlucky not on the list . What will i do , i really want to live and work in canada but dont know how and what to do now. Please do advise.Thank you

I can't even find 2214 in the NOC list at http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC-CNP/app/quicksearch.aspx?lc=e&searchkey=2214 so I have no idea what that is but a caregiver is NOC 6474, see http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC-CNP/app/quicksearch.aspx?lc=e&searchkey=caregiver which is not a skilled position so has nothing to do with the new rules for skilled worker or the 38 occupations. To work as a live in caregiver, you go under a completely different program, the live in caregiver program, see http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/caregiver/index.asp

Sorry its 2241 my NOC but not on the list , , im working now as a caregiver here in philippines in a elementary private school 2006 up to present as teacher assistant/live in caregiver .

It's not 2241 either, see http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC-CNP/app/quicksearch.aspx?lc=e&searchkey=2241 but as I said already, if you are looking to work as a live in caregiver, that is under a completely different program and has nothing at all to do with this list.
