hi all
I am here in canada since july on visitor visa stamp expiring 6th january18. I have visitor visa till oct 2019. I am permanent resident of newzealand holding indian passport.
Last month in october i got married here in canada and wife is canadian citizen.
We are planning to file an inland application for which we collecting documents.
My question is it Ok/advisable to travel ? ( to mexico for a week for my frnds destinations wedding ).
Or i am risking to be allowed to enter back into canada by CBSA.
Are we allowed to seek legal help if CBSA deny you to enter ?
Your views/advise are appreciated
Thanks in advance

If you leave there's always some chance (no matter how small) that you may not be allowed to re-enter. If you want to be able to travel outside of Canada during the PR process, then it may make sense to apply outland instead.

There's no legal recourse if you are denied entry into Canada. If you have an inland application process, leave, and are then denied re-entry - you would have to submit a new outland application.
