Need advice to arrange file for spouse

I have a question regarding arranging file for spousal.
How you guys number the pages of file?
Can I use tabs to mark page number? Or is it ok if i do not number pages? Or just make index that shows contents?

Is it ok to use paper clips on multi page documents?

Sorry guys for such questions but i don't want that VO get angry and frustrated from my any mistake.

I made section And index for proof of documents and numbered it 1,2,3 like that but no page number.
I made section for communication and made index for chat application i used and numbered it.
So VO can understand how many different chat app i used and figure out as a proof

You can just write the page number at the bottom of the pages of extra proof. They don't like it when people use tabs (the kind that stick out). You are not supposed to use paper clips either. They will remove tabs and paper clips when they get the application.

You don't need to use page numbers or have an index or table of contents. However, I think numbering the pages and having an index or table of contents might help the visa officer. It is up to you.
