Need Advice Regarding Canceling One PR Application

Hello everyone, l am in a dilemma right now. I have 2 PR files going on same time one is Paper based application since March 2017 and one is Express Entry since July 2017.
I ordered GCMS notes for Express Entry 3-4 times and it shows-
Eligibility- Review Required
Security- Blank
Criminality- In progress
Medical- Passed
It's almost 9 months and eligibility is still not passed.
On the other hand my paper file notes which I received from days ago are like this-
Eligibility- Passed
Security- Not Started
Criminality- In progress
Medical- In progress
I'm not sure but this paper file looks more positive to me than Express Entry.

My question is that it would be wise if I cancel my Express Entry file and just go ahead with my paper file? I again ordered GCMS for express entry file and will get them in Mid May!
Any suggestions friends?
