Need advice on what to buy from India before arriving at Canada as a student

I'm awaiting the approval of my study permit. In the meantime, I want to be prepared with all pre-departure formalities before arriving in Canada. Since I'm a student, I've got a limited budget and would like to know beforehand if any of the following items should be purchased from India before arriving in Toronto, Canada:

1) Prescription glasses (Crizal, Varilux, Kodak etc.)
2) Contact lenses (Bausch & Lomb and similar brands)
3) Running and casual shoes (Nike, Sketchers, Adidas, Asics etc.)
4) Wall charging converters
5) Belts, ties, socks and related accessories.
6) Formal and casual shirts.

I'd also appreciate it if someone has any other pointers. Thank you!

Standard voltage is 120 V/60 Hz. You'll need a voltage converter + a power plug adapter.

4) is it for ur phone? U can buy the cable from Canada. For laptop, u might wana bring the converter.
5) Yeh from India. U can buy more from Canada as needed. Wont need ties much..
6) Buy tees/hoodies from India. Branded shirts might be actually cheaper here in Canada. Formal shirts, buy from Canada.
