Hi

I'm currently working in Canada in a skilled B position as a cook.I have a bachelor's degree from India and a Canadian post graduate certificate in Hospitality and tourism management.I am on a post graduate work permit (open work permit) .
I have a couple of questions on applying for FSW from within Canada. Can someone please advise?

1. Can I apply for FSW from within Canada?
2. Can I apply with an open work permit? I have a full time job offer and I'm currently a full time/permanent employee as cook
3. Do I have to submit an ECA (Education crediential assessment) report? I already have a Canadian post graduate certificate. even if i do not want points for my foreign education do i need to submit ECA....

Your advice and help is greatly appreciated.....

For starters your employer will need to obtain an LMO:

Although you are on an open work permit, your open work permit does not fall under an international or federal-provincial agreement. So for this reason you'll need an approved LMO to qualify to apply under FSW. Your employer must also be willing to make you a permanent job offer if you are accepted under the FSW program.
