Need Advice (IT Professional Moving From US)

Hello everyone. I am an IT professional looking to move to Saskatoon from the US. I am a United States citizen with no criminal history. I am 26 and have been applying for IT jobs in Saskatoon. I have not secured an official job offer yet and was wondering what my best options would be. Should I keep applying and hope for a job offer or apply for entry into Canada another way?

It's typically earlier to find jobs as a permanent resident than foreign worker. Having said that, some are certainly successful in finding jobs as foreign workers.

If you want to go the immigration route (permanent resident) instead, Canada has several different programs each with their own requirements. If you're aiming for Saskatoon, you should research the Express Entry / Federal Skilled Worker immigration program and also the Saskatchewan Provincial Nominee Program.
