Hello! I'm trying to help out a friend/colleague who wants to immigrate to Canada:

My friend and her husband have two kids under the age of 4. Proof of funds-wise, they are good with the requirement for the family size
Wife, age 37, has master's degree eqivalent with five years work experience
Husband, age 37 has bachelor's degree with >5 years of work experience for his NOC

They have not done ECAs (I'm dead sure that the wife will get equivalent to master's like me since we have similar degrees in the same university) or their IELTS yet which I am advising them to do. They speak/write very good English. I tried computing their CRS for them with a presumed CLB of 9 (made their test scores similar to mine). Unfortunately, despite all that, they only came to a CRS of 380. When I re-compute the score so that only the wife goes and the husband will not accompany, the CRS squeaks by 420. However, as the kids are still young, I would assume they want to all stay together.

The wife has a first degree cousin in Manitoba and an Aunt in Ontario. I have looked up the programs for some provinces and their NOCs are not listed as "in-demand" for any of the provinces.

Are their chances for family class sponsorship good (if the relatives are willing to sponsor) or did I misunderstand the PNP opportunities for them?

Any help/ insight/ opinion would be greatly appreciated! Please and thank you!

i'm not sure how you did the calculations... but when i checked the CRS tool the score was 430 with spouse accompanying, not 380.

this is assuming however
primary applicant has masters degree
primary applicant has CLB9 in every single module on IELTS (meaning 8,7,7,7 in listening, reading, writing, speaking respectively)
secondary applicant has bachelors degree
secondary applicant has CLB9 in every single module on IELTS (meaning 8,7,7,7 in listening, reading, writing, speaking respectively)
