Hi! My boyfriend and I have been talking about getting married but there is the obstacle of immigration for us to be together.

Here's our story:

We've been together for 3 1/2 years now. He's in Mexico now and I'm here in the US working as H1-B (US green card is in-process: I-140 approved and waiting for cut-off date to be current to apply for AOS I-485 - received 5/2008). He has a 10 yr-bar in the US and I could not do anything for him until I become a US Citizen. He does not want me to leave my US job coz my salary is too good and it's going to be hard and it will take a long time for me to have the same work in Mexico. So we have decided to immigrate to Canada - I might still be able to keep my job here in the US and live in Canada. Btw, I am from Philippines - we have different nationalities.

Could you please give advice on which one will take us a shorter time to be able to be approved as immigrant in Canada.

1. We get married in Mexico and I start my Skilled Worker/Professional Immigration Application here in US (I am not even sure if I can just do it here in US or need to be in Philippines or in Mexico-for him)?

2. I'll start my application here in US as single then once approved, I will move to Canada (or they said I don't need to) then we get married in Mexico then start application to sponsor him.

3. I'll start my application here in US as single then once approved, he will try to apply for temporary visa to Canada, we get married in Canada then start application to sponsor him. If we do this, can we do this Inland or need to be Outland?

Thank you so much!!!
