Hey everyone hoping get some advice from more experienced people than myself in the field . I just had a daughter in Mexico and I am a Canadian born citizen , I'm about fill out her passport and citizenship forms out but am stuck already . Her name is Charlotte Jakupi carrillo , for her Canadian forms we just want to use Charlotte Jakupi not Carrillo as I don't want her having 2 last names there . How do I go about this can I just not include ilcarrillo on the forms for her passport and citizenship ?

Hoping hear back soon thanks a lot

The passport is based on the Canadian citizenship and the citizenship is based on the Mexican Birth Certificate that I suppose includes that mother name. You'd ask to not put that name when asking for her citizenship.
