Hi

I got my student visa for canada on 9th july and date of marriage was scheduled on 16th july.

So curently my passport is gone for stamping.

I have one query that my spouse wants to come on spousal visa and we can add my name into his passport.

However, i do not think I can add my husband's name in passport since I am going in this august.

So how can I apply for spousal visa since his name might not be in spouse name so ig it will give them wrong info.

What is your program? Do you have the funds for two people?

If married then notify IRCC through Webform ASAP. Apply for SOWP once you have marriage documentation. Canadian passports don't list spouse on the passport so not sure if that needs to be completed.

You will be coming to Canada without spouse, and then applying. When you enter make sure it is as married.

You don't need spouse's name in passport from Canada's perspective.

You will need to show proof of marriage. Make sure also that you disclose your status as married, not single.

As already mentioned you need to inform IRCC about the change of your marital status before you landed in Canada. The fact that you are getting married so soon after getting approved for a study permit raises red flags. Hopefully you have applied to a reputable public university.
