I need some advice on what would there best options be for them to come to canada to go to school on a study permit but also try to apply for a work permit so they could work while going to school.. what do u think the fastest and most promising steps would be !!

They should first get admission in a University or college. The college or Uni would give them a work permit for working only 20 hours a week. I think January 2014, they would be given off-campus as well as on-campus work permit. The limit to work in one week is just 20 hours remember that.mrsthompson said:
