Need advice:Flagpoling with expired Work Permit

Can I Flagpole to obtain my new Work Permit but with the following situation:

- Old Work permit has expired 2 months back
- TRV valid for another month. (Cannot fly outside Canada so as to not affect my PR application)

Please advise.

Are you from a Visa exempt country?

No. I do need a visa to enter Canada.

Agreed that you cannot flagpole since you are out of status in Canada.

You should apply to restore your status as soon as you can.

Note that you need an approved LMIA to apply for a work permit.

So you mean I need to restore my expired work permit status or TRV? Work permit has expired jan 2, 2019.
I have applied for TRV status( visitor).( currently valid till March 28, 2019)
Is the Valid TRV status sufficient to Flagpole?

Yes. I applied to change to visitor just before my status expired.

Regarding LMIA: I have following 2 cases as job offers from 2 companies,
A]First company is saying my contract job is LMIA exempt. ( Last time I flagpoled with LMIA exempt and I got my work permit but the officer was not convinced initially)
B]Another company has me an offer and they are providing LMIA

Kindly advise what is essential to flagpole. Thanks very much
