A Canadian study permit have last date of 2nd August, 2021. My passport is expiring on 3rd August, 2021. Due to pandemic, I could not to travel Canada. I have joined two year course in Canada. Now, I will travel to Canada on 26th May, 2021.

Sir looking to the present pandemic situation and travel ban, is it advisable to renew passport from India and to travel with two passports (old passport with valid VISA and new passport)? And, is it good enough to renew/extend study permit with new passport? Because I have only 2 month time for passport renewal and study permit extension after shifting to Canada.

Please guide into the matter and oblige.

Thank you.

You can renew your passport back and carry both passport when travelling to Canada. Extend from within at least 1 month before

Sir, If I renew my passport from here, then Can officer will ask me about two passport at the time of port entry? Is there any issue with two passport at the time of port entry at Canada in the case of student?
