I have a BCom and MCom (correspondence) degree from India, and a Masters in Management from University of Windsor, Ontario, and am currently on a 3 year post grad work permit in Canada.

I was wondering if I needed ECA for my Indian degrees but found this: "You must have a Canadian Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree OR an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) report issued by a designated organization indicating that your foreign education is the equivalent of a Canadian Bachelor's, Master's or Ph.D. degree."
so I believe I don't need any ECAs.

However, should I include these Indian degrees in the Education history in the EE profile OR would it suffice to just mention the Canadian Masters? I know it doesn't hurt to mention everything but is it NECESSARY?

Re: Do I need to get ECA for my Indian Bcom/Mcom if I have a MS degree from Ontario?

I'm creating an EE profile for PR, and under Education history, it's asking for my education. Should I just include the Masters degree from Canada since I don't have ECAs for the Indian degrees so it doesn't matter anyway? Or is it mandatory to get the ECAs for my Indian degrees before creating the EE profile? Also, if it's not mandatory to include those, do I lose any points if I don't include these Indian degrees? Or does the Masters in Canada supercede everything?

Very confused. Please help! Thank you.

Your Canadian master's already gives you all the points you can get. An ECA for your Indian degrees is not needed. It is up to you whether or not you include them in your profile. They will not change your CRS score.

Exactly what I needed to hear. Thank you!
