Nearly 8 Weeks since Application..

Hey guys,

Now its nearly 8 weeks ago I submitted my application online with all the requested documents. I am from Germany and want to study for 10 months.

Anyone experiencing similar times or knows whats going on?

Hi there.

When is your application for, was it this summer, or Winter?

Your application would go through the Vienna office. They normally take 4 weeks, but unfortunately there are worldwide strikes at visa offices across the world so times are drastically increased. A lot of the online applications they are sending to different offices, but it appears not all of them.

It's a shame it's taking so long, your application should be easy to sort out because there is no visa requirement

It was for this month...

I already wrote some emails to Vienna and they said my application was automatically directed to the CPC Office in Vegreville where my application is being processed..

I already wrote an email to question@cic.gc.ca but there is no response for weeks.. Additionally they state nearly everywhere that you should not call them on specific case matters..

Anyone got an idea what to do?
