I dont know the process much. So, I can't help on this buddy

I sent directly...
Since i changed job that needs to be updated in CIC records... so I thought along with that documents I should send my PCC also..

Is anything wong I did??

Hey man,

What i know is, you are absolutely correct about PER and processing started.. CIC will provide you the PER number and then they will transfer the file to NDVO where your application will be processing (if you are Indian). Once the file reached NDVO and they take your file for processing they will update your status as we started processing your file on so and so date... and then NDVO will be doing your background check. that means they check your work, bank etc. mostly they dont do any enquiry unless they do it is not genuine. for me nothing came yet in my office or in Bank. After that they will ask for Medicals with PCC and RPRF(right of permanent resident Fee) .. that is the time they are going to do the criminality check and also security check. both are different i guess. PCC will clean your criminal background. SO once you get your PCC clean you are clean from that. Security check will be done by canadian Intelligence and there is an agency in Canada who does that for immigration purposes. That is the time taking thing after the medicals.. If you have visited many countries it will take more time i guess.. thats the situation i can find in the forum. Once the security check also cleared i think you are all done .. they will ask for Passport request .

Is PCC & Medicals both request come together? or PCC first & then Medicals?

Also, if they ask for PCC, how many days time they give to submit the PCC.
For Medicals, I am not worried, just go to hospitals and do the tests. but for PCC, they may ask for UK PCC in my case.

so, I need sufficient time to arrange UK PCC, and I am not sure how many days NDVO provides to arrange this.

pls share if anyone aware about this...

yes. recent cases has been diverted to warsaw instead of ndvo.
may be there are doing load balancing, God knows.

Mean while my husband has resigned and is looking for a job change... So shd I inform NDVO regarding the same now ? Or shd I wait till he gets a new job and then send the details. In mean while if NDVO does a bkgrd chk in the company then will it impact our file ????

Hi In my case PCC, MR and RPRF all came together on 31st dec.
They will give you 45 days to send all the above.
I would suggest you go ahead and get all the PCC done, especially if you need USA PCC.
US PCC takes 16 weeks + transit time.

having said that you can always ask for an extension from NDVO for submitting PCC, but that will delay your process.
