Hi All,

Any idea how long NDVO takes to add baby. My second line got updated on 23 Jan, MR on 6 feb med done along with baby medical upfront on 28 feb, and all the docs along with rprf fees, baby addition fees, medical done proof sent on 18 March 2015 but till now no tthird line updates :-\ :-\? Any idea i made payment by DD and as per HDFC they have no clue about dd encashment so need to check with ndvo.

Have you informed NDVO for you baby's birth ? If yes, then when ?

NDVO sends email when they encash DD. So if you haven't receive any email then it means your DD is not encashed yet.

Hi,

It is completely normal now a days from NDVO. Don't worry your medical will be on the way and you will get it soon. Patience is required!

Finally NDVO wake up and starts sending PPR's to May/June/July/Aug applicants...

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi.

Under Canada’s immigration legislation, all immigrant applications are subject to statutory requirements, including medical and background checks. These requirements must be satisfied before an applicant may be granted permanent resident status. In this context, certain background investigations are being conducted in connection with your application. As these investigations are conducted by outside agencies, we have no purview over the processing time. We are therefore unable to give an exact time frame in which we expect to conclude the verifications on this case.

For now, there is no action required on your part. Please be assured that as soon as the checks are completed the next steps in this application will be determined. Until then, we will not be able to provide any additional information on this case.

I guess Case Specific Query is waste of Time. Lets hope GCMS notes provide new information.
