I was wondering how long does it take to get the work permit if your work permit is sponsored by the company in canada. I submitted by documents with medical acknowledgment on Dec 27th 2012. CHC got my documents on 28th Dec 2012. SInce then the status is under processing. Has any body applied for work permit in last 2 months. ?

Have you applied for a PR or a work permit? If it is a work permit that you have applied for, I suggest you may start a different thread.

Normally it take week or two to en-cash DD in maximum cases

There may be some reason such as Package may not have reached CHC Office or misplaced or such some other cause

I suggest you should check the delivery status of your DD from your courier company. Did you check it?

Med/RPRF/PCC/PP requested: Nov 8th 2012

RPRF enchashed: Dec 12th 2012
Status changed to Decision Made: 5 Feb 2013
Passport Stamped with Maple Leaf visa: Fingers Crossed.....waiting for the passport
Landed: Hopefully March 2013

Congrats Grandmaster..

If your current address has changed to Canadian address, you should expect that the PPs has already been stamped.

Hopefully, you should be getting your PPs with a couple of days as they are stamping visas a few days befor changing the Ecas to DM.
