NBPNP - Getting married after nomination

Good day all,

So I successfully received a nomination from New Brunswick. It's currently pending in my EE profile and I'm about to accept it in few days. I applied as a single, but now there will be a change in my family composition - I'm getting married soon, probably after ITA but before AOR as it takes some time for the ceremony and marriage certificate issuance.

I know that I will have to provide additional documents for the federal immigration service: proper proof of funds, medical and police certificate for my spouse. But do I need to inform the province? I don't see any form for this on their website here:

https://www.welcomenb.ca/content/wel-bien/en/immigrating/content/HowToImmigrate/NBProvincialNomineeProgram/application_guides_and_forms.html

Well, maybe only this one "Request to amend your nomination certificate":

https://www.welcomenb.ca/content/dam/wel-bien/pdf/NB-012AmendNomination.pdf

Do I need to fill this out and mail it to them? I see it has some footnote there saying "*NBPNP will not revise your nomination certificate to reflect a change in family composition (i.e. new child; change in marital status, etc.)" So I'm a bit confused, whether I should inform them at all. And I hope it won't cause nomination cancellation :D

Thanks.

Hi! I'm curious about your PR journey. What was the update?

I am almost on the same boat right now. I informed NB PNP multiple times about the change in my family composition via email with the request to amend. I received no response to them. When I checked the portal, my status was changed to married and the number of people in the application changed to 2 instead of just 1.
