NB PNP Visitor Visa extension refused

Hello, I am currently staying in NB with friends on a visitor visa. I entered Canada July 29, 2019 and applied for an extension to the visa in January as I had a job offer through the NB PNP. I received a letter from Gov Canada yesterday saying my visa extension was refused. I submitted my PNP but have not heard back from that. What is the best next step for me to remain in Canada while waiting for the PNP results?

You need to apply to restore your status.

If restoration is also refused, then you'll need to leave Canada

Do you know how much time I have for the restore status to go in? If I am refused again, what happens with the PNP if I am accepted?
