NB PNP proof of fund

Hi guys,
a question regarding NB PNP. A question for one of my friend at work. He only has 360 points and he is thinking about moving doing NB PNP to increase his chances to get an ITA.

He is wondering if he needs to have 12000$ in his account even if he is already working in Canada. I answered he does not need to but he asked me to see what you guys think since he is not sure. senior members please!!!! Thanks in advance all

Please check NB PNP 022E - Personal Net worth form
In brief, on that form starting statement mentioned that you need to show employment in NB if you wants to waive off the fund requirement. I have applied for NB PNP and last week they requested me to submit the Personal net worth form with 6 months bank account detail history.

FYI: I have full-time job from employer in NB, still they asked to submit.
