I came to Canada as a Refugee back in 1994 from Bosnia.
Obtained my Citizenship around 1999.
Now i am sponsoring my wife who is american and in some of the forms ( IMM 5540F) its asking .
9. " Are you a naturalized canadian or permanent resident of Canada ? " Im thinking put No
10. " Were you yourself sponsored to come to Canada ?" Not sure what to put here...i came as a refugee and the country took us as refugees so the country spounsored us..
Also , i am married to my spouse, do i have to fill the IMM5409E form ( Statutory declartion of common law union ) ..I dont think so since were not common law, were married living together
