I am new in this forum. I have searched for topics related to the subject of this conversation but with no luck.
I am considering immigrating with my family to Canada. I have a son who's turning 10 in ~2 months time. I reckon he will be ~11 when first arrive in Canada (if everything goes as planned).
I am considering this move to Canada (from the Middle East) for the sake of a better future for my son. That said, I am a bit concerned about his age being too old for this move (in terms of native-like English language acquisition and subsequently performance in school, social interaction, etc).
Does anyone have any past experience related to this subject?
