Hi buddies,

I was on an Indian passport, when I received my PR card and have already been to Canada once on Indian passport in Oct 2010.

Now i have received British citizenship and hence I had to submit my Indian passport. However my Canadian PR card shows my nationality as Indian. I am now planing to travel to Canada again at the end of this month to settle permanently.

Will I be able to re-entering Canada with my PR card and UK passport??

Could you please help me with this....Many thanks for your help mates!! :)

Not an issue. Did you keep a copy of all the pages in your Indian Passport? You may need copies of the bio data page at PR Card renewal/ Citizenship application.

Dear Msafiri - Many thanks for your super quick response!!

Yes I do have copy of all the page of my Indian passport.

Does this mean, I don't need to do anything (i.e.change nationality on PR) before I travel to Canada and hopefully, no trouble at the Canadian airport?

Best regards

As you have proof of nationality change there is noting to worry at all. As long as you have a valid PR Card, you can enter Canada. If you wish to change your PR card, you can apply for a new one with your updated details after arriving Canada.
