Hello everyone about the national identity as part of the requirement for the application of PR under CEC, i just wanna ask would it be necessary should not be expired? is it a big deal? it was expired may 1, 2013...i just got my new WP and i'm planning to apply this june for CEC with expired national ID

National identity document is not required to be valid for CEC application, it is just used as another form of identification/data collection purposes and is optional (i.e. not all applicants will have such document at all)
