Hey there, I got my CoPR a month ago, but my last name was spelled wrong on the letter. And also when I applied for a new SIN, they also then spelled my last name the way it is on CoPR. Am I still legally able to get a job in Canada? I have a job offer right now, and need to provide all this information.
Any help would be great, thank you!

Wrong forum but I would contact IRCC to get this corrected
Short answer to your question yes you can but why would you want all your documents to be in an incorrect name

It will kind of depend on the employer.

Truth is if it's an obvious typo and other info like date of birth matches there's no reason why the COPR and SIN shouldn't be fine. (I presume this is ecopr, i.e. you were already in Canada when your status was finalized).

Your employer might reasonably ask you to at least show that you've contacted IRCC and Service Canada to correct the mistake.
