Me and my wife are applying for PR. The problem is my wife's father's name (my father-in-law). He doesn't live in Canada nor is he planning to move.
The correct spelling of the name is 'JAWAID'.
But, on ALL of my wife's documents, it is spelled as 'JAVED'. (Consistently, it is spelled exactly the same way in ALL of her documents)
My wife's Identification card and even her passport will have the husbands name, so these won't be an issue. But her educational documents and birth certificate will have her fathers name.
What do you guys suggest, should I get the name corrected? It is one helluva time consuming process to rectify this issue in my country.
