Name on citizenship certificate

Hi i did amendment before regarding my name but its only now i noticed that they forgot to put the period (.) In my given name. I am now canadian citizen and i dont know if i should ask them to correct it. Or they dont recognize period (.) In names. Please let me know if you have idea about this

Foreign passport has period (.) In it. But my amendment and citizenship doesn't have period (.)

I don't think they recognize the period in your name and won't amend it as such.
