I have a discrepancy in my name across different documents. On my educational credentials, my name is listed as 'Arti', whereas on my IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) profile, my name is 'Aarti Aggarwal'. Could this inconsistency affect my profile? If so, what steps can I take to rectify the issue?

When you create a new application you will provide all your information again, so not sure about the profile you mention, because is a new application when you apply and your name you will fill in all the forms came from your Passport. I suppose your educational credentials matches your passport.

I haven't created my profile yet. Except for my mark sheet, where my name is listed as 'Arti', all other documents, including my identification reflect my name as 'Aarti Aggarwal'.

Identity Verification Issues: IRCC needs to be confident that you are who you say you are. A name mismatch raises red flags during identity verification.
Security Concerns: Discrepancies can trigger security checks. for example, a https://woo.casinologin.mobi/ website. Application Delays: The officer may need to request additional documentation to clarify the discrepancy, causing delays.
Refusal (Less Common, but Possible): In severe cases, if IRCC cannot resolve the discrepancy, your application could be refused.
